Symfony is a web application framework for PHP projects. It aims to speed up the creation and maintenance of web applications, and to replace the repetitive coding tasks by power, control and pleasure. Symfony is aimed at building robust applications in an enterprise context. This means that you have full control over the configuration: from the directory structure to the foreign libraries, almost everything can be customized. To match your enterprise's development guidelines, symfony is bundled with additional tools helping you to test, debug and document your project.
Symfony is not an ORM Framework, but makes great use of Propel and Doctrine frameworks and ORM Designer comes with support of Symfony directory structure and plugins.
@alphaql You can try MySQL Workbench with YAML export plugin. But if you need import/export for all available ORM features, use ORM Designer

QtScript (based on ECMAScript) will be the main script language for ORM Designer 2. It took a lot of work, but it's really powerfull now ;-)

ORM Designer is a tool for modelling entity relationship diagrams (ERD). The biggest advantage is full support of any ORM framework which has its definitions stored in a markup language or other structured file.
Currently supported ORMs are PHP Doctrine, PHP Propel and CakePHP frameworks, but more will be added in close future.
