How to install ORM Designer on Linux

This article is a step-by-step screenshot tutorial about installing ORM Designer on any Linux base OS with Wine. Installation is really simple and doesn't require any special experiences.

Requirements

Wine version 1.1.33 is required to run ORM Designer properly. Please follow instructions published on official Wine site http://www.winehq.org/download/deb.

Step 1 - Open your command line

The most simple way how to install ORM Designer is via command line. So open it and begin with installation.

Step 2 - Download ORM Designer install

To download current version from our website use this link http://www.orm-designer.com/download/ormd/wget/setup-orm-designer.exe. To download this link via command line use following command :

wget http://www.orm-designer.com/download/ormd/wget/setup-orm-designer.exe

Step3 - Run ORM Designer installer

If installation package is successfully downloaded you can start installation by using following command :

wine ./OrmDesignerCore_setup_243.exe

(Note: Setup file name depends on current version)

Step 4 - Follow installer instructions

Installation process is really simple. After reading license agreement you can modify installed parts of ORM Designer (not recommanded to modify this settings) and choose installation directory. After that the application is installed following your installation params.

Step 5 - Let installer to run ORM Designer

After whole application is installed to computer, installer can automatically run the application.

Step 6 - Enjoy ORM Designer

After successfull installation you can enjoy our ORM Designer.
